Set in the heart of the Lancashire countryside, Bowland Wild Boar Park offers space to explore, unwind and enjoy the outdoors at your own pace.
Surrounded by woodland, open fields and riverside views, the park is designed to feel relaxed and welcoming – somewhere families, friends and locals can spend quality time together in nature.
Bowland Wild Boar Park is more than just a place to visit – it’s a destination for relaxed outdoor days out, family time and countryside connections. Set in the beautiful Ribble Valley within the Forest of Bowland, A National Landscape, our park offers a mix of fresh air experiences for all ages, from woodland walks and animal encounters to café stops and seasonal treats.
Whether you’re planning a full family day, a quiet walk with friends or a weekend visit with loved ones, The Park is designed to be easy to enjoy from the moment you arrive.
Your day begins from the moment you arrive. Before you wander off, why not pick up animal feed from the on-site shop to make the most of meeting our friendly residents later in your visit? You’ll also find cold drinks, ice creams, local produce and treats to enjoy now or take home after your day in the park.
With pathways leading into open grassland, woodland trails and riverside views, there’s space to breathe and room to roam right from the start.
One of the highlights of a visit to Bowland Wild Boar Park is encountering our animals – from playful goats and sheep to curious wild boar and more. You can pet and feed many of our residents (animal feed available in the shop), making this a hands-on experience that children adore and adults enjoy too.
While your little ones are exploring, there’s plenty to keep them busy:
At the heart of The Park is our welcoming café – Trough & Brew. Whether you’re craving a freshly prepared breakfast, a hearty lunch, homemade cakes, or a proper cup of coffee, our kitchen offers something to suit every palate.
